Week 01
Awareness
Discover awareness in ordinary moments—anytime, anywhere.
Human flourishing in the modern world · San Diego + online
Technology can expand what we can do. It cannot decide what makes a life worth living.
An inquiry into the human capacities no machine can practice for us: awareness, love, compassion, wisdom, creativity, community.
From
More efficiency, yet little space to ask what truly matters.
To
Use attention and discernment to choose how you want to live.
From
Life becomes increasingly mediated, abstract, and hurried.
To
Return to sensation, nature, relationship, and direct experience.
From
Technology answers how while the deeper why remains open.
To
Let human values—not capability alone—shape our choices.
Awareness, compassion, courage, embodiment, and wisdom cannot be outsourced.
Study what technology makes possible—and what human life still asks of us.
Ask what progress, intelligence, and a good human life actually mean.
Use meditation, yoga, and reflection to develop what cannot be outsourced.
Carry awareness and wise choice into work, technology, relationship, and daily life.
A six-week small-group inquiry into living fully human in the age of AI.
Grounded in Anytime Anywhere Meditation, the Lab brings awareness into work, technology, the body, relationships, creativity, and everyday life. We do not search for perfect answers. We practice, observe, reflect, and learn together.
Week 01
Discover awareness in ordinary moments—anytime, anywhere.
Week 02
Return from abstraction to the body and direct experience.
Week 03
Meet ourselves and others with openness, warmth, and care.
Week 04
Stay present with difficulty without hardening or turning away.
Week 05
Choose how technology serves our values, attention, and lives.
Week 06
Imagine and begin living a flourishing life together.
Meditation and yoga are tools, not the destination. They help us become more present, embodied, and free in daily life.
01
Learn to recognize awareness in ordinary moments—at a desk, in traffic, while walking, or in stillness. Each session includes clear context, guided practice, and one way to use it in daily life.
How we work together
02
Slow, floor-based yin yoga and guided yoga nidra support body awareness, deep rest, and recovery. Each practice meets the body gently, without forcing or striving.
How we work together
A simple introduction to awareness that you can use at a desk, on a walk, or before sleep. No prior experience required.
Flourishing Humans.life explores a practical question: how can we humans flourish in a modern world increasingly shaped by technology and artificial intelligence?
